Ugh. Sorry to hear. I put the bucket in the tub now and set the timer on the microwave.

I have one of these as well, works very well. Pricey, but alas if it saves you once, it's already worth its value.

I have a mechanical pressure switch, float switch, a solenoid on an apex and one of these leak controllers on my ATO... only make water in the sink for WCs. Learned that the hard way.

+1 on the float valve. It's easy to install on most resevoirs (mine's a 5 gallon bucket), and will stop this problem.

same here, for more than 5 years , never over flow, 20 gal. bucket, locate were i work.

I set the alarm on my phone when I turn on the rodi.

I also have a folded index card with the word 'water' written on both sides of it and I put it on the floor by my door so I can't leave the house without noticing.

+1 James. I have the Apex Advanced Leak Detection module and a few probes on deck for my next purchase. Murphy is always waiting in this hobby!
