UGHH :irked:. while shopping at a LFS i stumbled upon what i thought to be a really funky, pretty, different looking "zoa". Nice sized polyp, Bright green center, pink speckled semi long skirt. I was in love, never seen any that looked like this. There were 2 of them on a rock nestled in between some regular standard zoas. guy cut the rock in about half leaving me with the two i wanted and a handful of the regular zoas.
LONGGG story short. I get the rock home, go on about trying to frag off just 1 of the specific "zoas" i liked to put on a frag plug... glued it on and watched it open so pretty about 2 min later. happly went down stairs, ate dinner blah blah blah... when i came back up i looked at my new frag plug and the polyp has moved!! confused... i poked at it with my long tongs and it floated off the plug, panicking i stuck my hand in the tank and caught it and it stuckkkk to my hand like a nem!!! sooooo i put it in my little h.o anemone tank thing'a'bob i got going on and sure enough it stuck to the bottom.
i tried to get a photo i have 2 really crappy ones. can anyone id this?? ill try for better photos tomorrow or Thursday.

obviously its the tiny little one in the center and not the red one in the back im talking about

its not a zoanthid, its 100% anemone, its moving around the nem tank. i just don't know what kind, good or bad. its super tiny. and i murdered the other one that was still attached to the rock :sad2: i need to get a better picture when i can, hopefully it doesn't escape.

+1 Rock anemone.
I have two of them, one red and one green, and they are cool.
Mine are on the sand and stay put, never moving but I hear they will if they want.
When they get big enough you can get a porcelain crab.

shes not talking about the big red rock anemone. shes talking about the little quarter inch little anemone rite dead center of the picture. we think it might be a (Majano anemone). and she doesn't no if there good or bad for her tank.

do rock anemones hang out in between a cluster of Zoanthids on a rock ??

My rock nems.
The green one is just like yours.
The red one buds off and I find the small buds sometimes and they are zoa sized replicas of the larger nem.
