I gave DBTC- now he's selling it?! I think its resolved...

So I gave a few things to another member on DBTC- now it seems that member is selling a few frags of the same- frankly I'm a bit pissed off about this. I have always been a generous member here; am I wrong?

Not at all!! I give stuff all the time , if anyone knows me on mr they know I'm a standup kind of guy that always does the right thing and then some , if your anything like me then hell yeah I would be here right now with the same thread !!!!

i saw a post today of a member selling 2 different corals i gave him a month ago. yes i am pissed, was hoping he would pass it on for free.

Selling DBTC corals is seriously wrong and in complete violation of the spirit of the program. The idea was always that the community would police the integrity of DBTC recipients by calling out those that violated the DBTC "code of honor." If you want to be nice you could PM him as Albano suggests or you could just rat him out. Either way, do not just let it slide.

I am the one who brought DBTC to MR, this stuff pisses me off.

Thats a cool idea,its a shame people take advantage of good things.The guy should get a job if he needs money..most people sell frags at such a low price compared to what they are worth..a few bucks is all his self respect is worth I guess..Thats why I spend most of my time on the water..no people out there. smh.

Good for you and don't ever let that slide , it's a moral obligation to give when you recieve , it's paying it forward , especially when your in such a money demanding hobby , who wouldn't want free frags especially if your operating on a set budget , and to the guy , I commend you for taking responsibility and taking the correct actions to correct the issue , this is what makes you who you are , integrity and a good heart goes a long way in reefing.

hi am the guy in question. :smash:

i received so much from edd and jcono so i figured i could trade them. then, i added really low prices to drive up the trade part of it. so its not even about the money. the one guy who pmed me about them will get his corals for free. thx and i apologize for the ruckus.
