is the ip and the gateway the same numbers? also i hae it setup as 192.168.0.165 cause my system goes from 100-163 when i typr that address in a page comes up says aquacontrollerapex on the top but the page is blank?

Do you have the Apex Display? If you do, the check the IP Address of the apex and see if that matches the IP address on the router its connected to.

No, gateway would the IP of your router. More than likely it'll be 192.168.0.1 for your configuration.

Apex IP: 192.168.0.165
Gateway: 192.168.0.1

You're just trying to get your Apex on your network at this time?

Open XML tells the Apex to allow unauthenticated access to XML feeds outputting from your Apex. Mainly used for data collection.

That's the DHCP table. If you assigned a static IP (192.168.1.165) to your Apex it wouldn't appear on that list. If you have a tab for ATTACHED DEVICES (some do, some don't) on the router configuration page, it'll show up there.

Interesting. The tab named Aquacontroller Apex tells me that the browsers is connected to your Apex, just the dashboard isn't rendering under IE.

Open a Command Prompt and enter ping 192.168.0.165 and you should get 3 responses from your Apex. This will determine connectivity between your PC and the Apex.

I just ran the software and it shows it there
