So I got a new Apex unit. I was able to setup the ph and temp probes easily. But I cannot seem to setup the outlets nor can I hook it up to the internet. I have assigned it an ip address and when I type it in the top of the page says Aquacontroller Apex but the page is blank. I hae been doing this for 3 days and im beyond frustrated. Anyone local that can give me a hand?

the neptune forum said u should hook it up directly to ur modem the first time to activated it. once is connected to ur modem along with ur computer it should recognize it. and check what ip address is assign to it im not sure u can assign to it but the modem should
try also upgrading the firmware that worked for me this weekend
and when u see on ur computer the ip assign to it then go in the display and change it
i think it was system-net set up- ip address 192.168.0 (the last digits is the 1 u got to change) also dhcp has to be OFF
hope this helps

Arnaldo,

It all depends on what you currently have connected to your Apex. The controller will set up many default outlets for you but I found it was best t erase them all and only set up outlets for what I have attached. For instance, the VarSpd1-4 outlets are defaults that I deleted.

Do you have FIOS because I had a problem the first time I set it up and it was due to the firewall settings on the FIOS modem/router?

Don't want to steal the thread, but I want to hook it up to the Internet, and basically hook up everything to my controller

I had it set up on my last tank about two months ago. I had everything hooked up, also had feed schedule and water change schedule settings. I had it under the feed schedules A and B. Also was able to control it through my Android phone, it was cool because one morning while at work my heater got stuck and then temperature went up, received a text message and an email from the Apex and I turned off the heater from my phone. Cool
