led color with mh t5?

is there any way I can get similar color from a mh t5 combo that the led give,The led makes the neons pop I dont have as much of a neon in the mh t5... 14k mh 2ati blue + 2 ati purple+.. Or is that the way led color.The more I see these led the more I am starting to like them.

Put a stunner led strip. You won't get those color with t5 and mh.

I gonna check it out,does it add more par to the tank or are they just for color,I just had readings done and I actually had my light at the perfect height. Thanks.

Im still mh/t5 combo fan, you will never get that shimmer with leds.

Blue stunner led light is more for visual. Don't think par is effected, unless you getting the white led light.

I was thinking of adding a small strip just to get the glow like the led have.I would run the strip when the mh go off with the t5.I like looking at the tank at night I like the glow in the acans and zoas.I was looking to enhance it with the led.

i would like to accomplish the same as steve. what bulbs are you running? would actinic t5s help?

I had geissman atinic before and it is not like the led.Samsky is right about the blue strip.

Actinic t5 will give a unique fluorescence similar to actinic vho's

All blue Reefbrite is the way to go for that LED pop.
