ID strange looking Paly

OK so I came home at a late hour and said to myself let me turn the lights on and see how everything is doing at night. I turned them on and I saw a few of these paly looking objects and tried to study them carefully when they slowly began retracting into the rock. I then did this again just now with my camera ready so I can get some closure on what these possibly are. They are clear with green specs. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I believe they are related to mushroom corals. Theyre not manjanos.
