Problem with tapatalk

Anyone else having a problem with tapatalk? It is not updating and when I sign in it says the API for this site has expired contact administrator . Posting here because I didn't know where else to post it. Thanks.

Tapatalk stopped working for iPhone and the reef ap is still not working.
Only thing you can do on reef ap is reply to posts- no PM's, no new posts

I assume that you have upgraded Tapatalk recently.

The new version is absolutely horrible, there are tons of bugs and some major security concerns.

We were burned by Tapatalk once already and made the decision to build our own app that uses the public API that they offer. There is no way we are going to continue working with them and will only provide compatibility at the API level. I cannot emphasize enough that they are a terrible company to work with and have made it immensely difficult to do anything except the very few options they offer. It is not a cost issue, we are developing our own app at around 15x the cost of the previous version, but at least we can ensure that this will not happen again.

At this time we can enable this functionality but it will have a negative affect on the Android users.

The Reefs app has a bunch of bugs but the two issues you listed have been resolved in the latest build.

The new tapatalk has been ok for me..when i've gotten that error i log out my tapatalk id and then log back in and it is better. Its happened 2-3x since the recent upgrade...

Only error I have experienced was the API error on initial opening. That and on a rare occasion it will open with previous read threads instead of "Unread" Last update seems to have corrected some of it.

I do find it weird that I use TT for 7 forums that I am a member of. 3 Reef forums and 4 photography forums. The only issues I have seen have been w MR being 100% honest. Wouldnt this point to an arror with this forum and not the TT app?

This is most likely due to us using a version of Tapatalk that they no longer support. Once our own custom Android app is out we can use the new public API and these issues will be resolved.

I have iPhone 4S also, and tapatalk no longer works and reef ap has most of the same issues-really a great thing when a vendor.

oh crap, thank goodness that tapatalk was inexpensive.

The only reason I bought it was to read MR, no wonder I have not been able to use it for the past week, it no longer works with MR.

Sign out of tapatalk id and log in again...it works fine after that usually..working fine for me...but slow.
