I have tried these small polyps many times with no success. Is there anything that I should be doing in an SPS tank to help keep them alive. I have seen pictures posted by reefers on this forum that had a huge success in an SPS tank.

Many species of softies prefer nutriants in the water so it becomes a delicate balance of having too much or too littler nutriants to keep all forms of corals happy...many have found that balance, but its very hard to keep it long term...my tank will go through cycles...some months everything looks great and others some do while others don't.

I had blue cloves inmy last tank they took off!! when I transferred my rock to my new tank it had blue cloves on it I figured the no light and cycle would kill them off well after 6 weeks no light and new live rock these things r back and growing!!!

Anyone know a fish that eats them??

It's funny you say that.. I have had success w everything in my dt except rainbow polyps.. For some reason they always die off in my dt..

I do have really good success w my purple clove polyps.. They are hardy, grow like a weed and ray to maintain.. Lmk if you want to try them

Idk know I guess my water is dirty they thrive in my tank : (
Hopefully new skimmer gets here ASAP !
I've not found them killing coral but will grow over any rock taking up space for sps to grow!
Might have to throw a known softie eater in my tank !!!
