I've been doing some research on these products and am almost thinking about taking a chance on them. I was suggested the bio optim and the bio digest. What is the difference between the regular prodibio and the PRO prodibio? I have a 240 gallon display tank, 125 gallon sump, and a 75 gallon refugium. Total water volume is around 300 gallons after the sand and live rock? I would just like a cleaner looking tank and to lower my nitrates which are between 20-30ppm and my phosphates which are at 3? Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated

i use regular vials, Pro is too big and once you open it you have to use it all.
You cant oD this product.. I spoke with owner of prodibio and actually he is Dr in Marine biology at MACNA he told me that we cant OD Digest . Biotim is carbon source..
if you wanna be on a safe side, start with 1/2 what i recomended for 3 weeks and increase slowly.
How do you measure PO4, seems pretty high to me?

i measure po4 with a test kit then place the vial against the white paper and match it up to the nearest color. I know this is far from accurate but thats what i have to use for now. where do you order your prodibio from? cause I notice online on ebay its half the cost. problem is it takes almost a month to get here

just started a new system. if you have large bio load i recomend small amount of gfo to remove residiual PO4.

see i was thinking the same thing. the nitrate will be reduced faster than the phosphate. without any nitrates you cant lower the phosphates cause they feed off each other. I never thought about taking the skimmer offline but I did expect it to go nutty for a little while
