Disappointed with the Reef app update.

I feel really bad and I'm sure a lot of hard work has been put into the creation of the new version but I refrained from updating for a long time knowing that new versions have kinks that need to be ironed out. But I was forced to when i upgraded my iphone to the 5s. The previous version i could practically do everything I can do on the website and more. But this new version, I cant click on members names to view their other posts. Half the time I cant post a reply or when it does I don't even know if its posted or not. I cant reply to a specific members comments. When i reply in a message it doesn't show the reply message. there's more but I cant remember them all.

The new version looks great. And i completely understand the need for advertising but I just cant use it. I'm forced to use safari when I really want to go on MR.

I hope it gets a serious fix soon. My personal opinion. I do want to thank all the admins and Josh for their hard work.

Agreed +1 on the new update . I also have a problem trying to reply to a post or thread, the advertisment on the screen can become a bit annoying. When i try to view a picture , it looks all distorted ( reminds me of the "the end" scene of a chinese kung fu movie back in the days of saturday afternoon kung fu )

additionally taping the top on an apple device doesnt bring you up in the page

I looked for other options when that happen to me and came across TAPATALK is as good as the old REEFs app. I can even send pics on private messages. Give it a try.

OK, I got one new fix from this thread, and the other issue you raised is already fixed. So hold tight for the next release and post again if you have a problem that is not already addressed. We love getting the feedback.
