I may have overreacted to it just expelling waste. It just seemed to be much more rapid and severe than the other time I saw it expelling waste.
I'm gonna keep an extra close eye on it the next couple days.
I'm going to try to find a better spot for the powerhead. I need it because I had a lot of waste settling under the rocks as a result of the lack of flow (I don't even feed too much and only once a day)
The anemone moved a couple inches last night...heading back to where it was for the first month or so in the tank.
It looks pretty small and shriveled to a small degree, but I can't see any obvious signs of disintegration.
It responded quickly to touch (it was getting dangerously close to my new Tubbs Blue frag so I had to stick my hand in the tank to move the frag)
The water does smell a slight bit "off" but the general consensus for the smell of a dying anemone is "once you smell it you never forget it".
It's definitely not anywhere near that level.
All other corals (4 zoa frags and GSP are open and well)
