bad experience ordering online

so i just wanted to let my buddies know of this experience i encountered ordering online. I have ordered online several times with no problems i find you find good deals for things you dont find around well about two months ago i placed a order from mrcorals.com and wow this has been a long journey. I spent about 220-240 dont remember on a few polyps a frag of pearl berry and a frag of tequila sunrise. Took almost two weeks to finally get my order then upon opening the package i started noticing problems like a rock chip with no polyps or signs of polyps on it and the pearl berry frag completely bleached out and every frag on diff king of plugs or tiles. I started snapping pics straight from my bath room and put everything on my rack after a few hours i was able to c what i had then i emailed them. I was missing alot of the namebrand polyps and sent other none namebrand stuff like some cheap yellow polyps and gorrilla nipples and empty rocks. I also notices that a few of the items like on polyp says wysiwyg and that wasnt true if it showed like 2-3 polyps i got one and he said that those pics are for showing purposes only, we got into it about that but he said thats the way it is. The polyps i was missing was darth maul,electric oompa,sopranos, space jam, tripple sec and my replacement frag of pearberry. I was suppose to finally after two months get my order then he canceled because of weather twice then he tells me that the oompas melted so i tell him to send me a frag of sun corals or scarface polyp. I finally got my stuff yesterday and still am disappointing nothing looks like the pic and again not wysiwug, i have come to the conclusion that this is a lost battle but wanted to give ya a heads up i am so upset money lost i have seen these polyps in person and know how they suppose to look and these r not them i will never order from this site again and its my first time putting up a bad review but i felt that i needed to do something

Sorry for loss and thank you for letting me know. I also received five frags of sps from a vendor. One RTNed and the rest four have no color at all. They look like brown turds.

Lesson learned. Some are good, some not necessarily bad but you get the idea.

Yo, I got you on the darth maul, scarface, and electric oompa loompas.....let me know so I can cut and let them heal.....I know how you feel....I just ordered some zoad....The guy forgot one and all the zoas look like he picked the worst ones out of the bunch.....never again.....If I can't see in person I'm not ordering.....

I sent you a PM on WHY I closed the other thread. This thread is regarding a non-MR vendor who would not have a rating area on here. You were told to leave Reefer Ratings, a system we have in place specifically so members will know if there are issues dealing with a particular member. If you chose not to utilize this feature, then shame on you.

It is suggested that anytime anyone is purchasing from an unfamiliar company that they do thorough research on the reputation of that company.

Mr.corals are horrible. They clip little nuggets off wild corals and put a name on it. I ordered from them 3 years ago all acros and they were the size of a eraser. A few were dead and until I started bashing them on FB they finally got back to me with a note saying if I keep it up they will get their lawyers involved. Sent me new corals but had to pay shipping again. Never again. Turned me off to doing any online livestock again

Thats why with corals i rather see it in person. Im sure some online vendors are great and are actually selling WYSIWYG frags but i rather play it safe. Besides i dont know any zoas names or care to. If i like it i buy it. thats it.

I order from 3 different online sites. Two were great and the other one is sending it out when temperature a little warmer. All three are on west coast. Very reasonable prices. Thing with online is shipping. But if you have a big order lots of online place offer free shipping.

as long as you tell the truth and have the emails the lawyer can stick it. you should get what you pay for and in good condition. can we report bad venders to animal control. these are live animals and should be handled and treated with care and respect. I know I'm going to get flack for this but it is my opinion and know other hobbyist have the same. do you kick your dog or give it a pat on the head.

I ordered from mrcoral once and one time only, a few years ago he did some awesome looking frag packs. Well the pictures were awesome looking the crap I got from him was not. I will NEVER buy from mrcoral again.

ive ordered from Mr.Corals before a few times in fact. If you Read the description on the Acros it sometimes says 1/2-3/4" Frags witch are not big at all, thats a decent size for a frag lmao. But as for your Polyps not being there talk to him, im sure he will give you a Back Fund, He never stiffed me when i told him a few things were not good. He gave me credit towards my next order.

yea...I've got some good frags from Mr Corals. They are extremely small and some are freshly cut. however, they are good with service. I usually get replacements if anything dies. And seriously, a lot of their pictures are taken under actinics or some other lighting that's different than mine.. I can't expect the frags to look the same as the pictures...

thanks for all the replies to gab i gotta say the replacement for the pearl berry is alittle over a inch and two branched its nice, as to the lawyer its not worth it i went forward and back with this guy so many times about so many issues i am gonna just take the loss i never heard that wysiwug is just for picture purposes lol. I just wanted to let my buddies know because people that know me knows i like trying diff sites to c what deals they got the thing that gets to me is that even after all he sends me polyps that look nothing like the pics ive seen darth mauls before and sopranos and scarface and this is not them lol i will never order from this site again. someone mentioned ordering from a few diff sites with no problems maybe you can recommend a site so i can look into.
