Greatest skimmer and why??

My 2 cents,, and agreed upon by a few engineers for 2 different companies,, is any skimmer that uses wooden air blocks,, they stopped making them so much b/c they all required 2 plugs, one for air pump and the other for a water pump.

so far Iv had the BM NAC 6 and the needle wheel 4" reef octopus.

for my upgrade I bought the new reef octopus DC200 but returned it after opening the box. it uses the same Venturi that my other one has that clogs with salt creep every 3-4 weeks.

I just ordered the LifeReef SV3 30" with the self cleaning Venturi, ill post back with review
