JBJ ATO trouble shoot

I have a JBJ ATO for a year and half with aqualifter, it was fine. Didn't adjust timer fail (it was factory set timer, 3min:45sec) until recently something's wrong with JBJ auto.

Aqualifter is running fine and good pushing water flow.

It is only 2 minutes running then sudden stopped. The light is on but will not leave pump on until the water level is reach. Never happen before.

I tried all the way to counter clockwise and counter it's same.

Is it shot or is there a way to fix this?

Same thing happened to mine after about the same time 1.5-2 years. It may be the float sensor. I just used the second float that came with it and it works good again.

Some time it's act up. Hard to tell..

Umm, never thought about that, float sensor .

some trouble shooting reviews state the float sensor can be affected by near by magnets. Or was that the unit itself. Anyway, test them out in a bucket with no nearby powerheads or those magnetic glass clamps.

Yup it was sensor failed

Replaced it. It works as normal now
