Selling here - more and more issues

If you're someone who gets all worked up, then I suggest only buying new equipment and fish/corals from a store, and not selling here at all. If you NEED to sell things to stay in the hobby, you might want to rethink things. Sorry but it's the truth. The hobby is just not worth getting stressed out over.

I totally disagree. Only because it is a hobby doesn't mean we have to deal with people who behave like teenagers. Whenever I sell something or buy, I try to be as polite, accommodating as I can and if someone is an a... I should not tolerate this.

I see what you mean.... It's annoying, sure. Personally, I just move on to the next person and probably won't deal with them again, and then let it go. Forget about it. That's my main point. The unfortunate reality is, these negative actions by people aren't going away. Even if negative ratings increase. It's obviously completely up to you, but I can almost guarantee that if you keep giving people negative reefer ratings, you'll get a retaliatory one sooner or later. Even if you did nothing wrong. It's just the way it is.

I told the guy that I'd give him the fish for free and apologized profusely. he could have easily given me a negative rating. Instead, he was a stand-up guy, took the fish, and promised to pay me back if the fish lived. Reluctantly, I accepted. He saved the fish, (because he's the man and knows what he's doing) and ended up paying me back later. So it worked out for everyone.

I would give you a positive rating if I was that guy. You were honest and offered the fish for free. Now if you tried to hide the ich or didn't respond to him him you would deserve negative feedback.
