I've read many differing opinions on this. Some keep it low like 78-79 while others keep it high at 83-84 and many in between.

I kept mine at 82 but it has been at 79 for the past few days while I wait for my heater to come in. When I had my nano 6 gal reef temp fluctuated from 82-84 daily and now that I look back to it I didn't have nearly as much growth in that tank as this one however temperature may have nothing to do with it either.
Where do you keep your reef at and why?

With the sea horses though isn't the low temp to prevent bacteria? Most of the worlds natural reefs are 80+ some of them even going up to 87-88 like in Samoa (but then again they aren't in the best condition). I might raise my temp back to 82-83

Im getting sea horses. The 60 cube made it up on to the stand tonight. Now I am just waiting on the return pump. Already got the sand and have 100lbs of rock in my shower.
