Lol, my son was home from the navy for his first leave in a year and he ordered the valves for me. He's an engineer so I said ok go for it, and he did but like always he used my credit card so the sky was the limit.....I think he got some stuff for himself too.

We ordered the stuff from Bulk reef supply since I needed some other things I managed to get just enough for the free shipping.

Actually Home Depot/lowes valves and all other pvc fittings are all made from Spears.only difference between the grey scedule 80 and the white scedule 40 is the thickness of the pvc and the amount of pressure they can hold.my own opinion the grey(scedule80)is overkill for what we use them for

What are you talking about? They might carry spears but its not all spears by any means. IMO hd sucks for pvc fittings. They do have better pipe but lowes carries lasko. Same stuff I get from savko.
