So Shark Week is Fake???!

I finally tuned in last night to this shark week I keep hearing about, I see the Submarine killer 30ft shark "documentary"

I was totally amazed at the unreal footage of the shark killing those 2 people.

Now I read its FAKE?? Why!!!! Would discovery lie about tragic events and show this BS?

Anyone see that? There's no freaking way that's actual footage right?

They lost me as a viewer. Its pathetic, they are doing a good job at showing they only want to try to capitalize on viewers rather than actually trying to educate the public on the conservation of these animals and how important they are.

I am surprised they did not try to capitalize on Paul Walkers death and his love for sharks ..yet.

Next they will come out with a "documentary" of a clan of Mermaids that ride Megalodons.

a few years ago there was a really good episode on sharkweek about a diver that would put the sharks into tonic and how once they realized the outcome of the interaction it was a desired experience for the sharks. That was a good sharkweek....gore and clips of sharks jumping just get viewers.

It looked kind of cgi, but why would a scientist ruin his reputation saying " this is the first real footage of great white attacking " if it was fake.


Also wasn't the scar on "submarine" the same as the same scar when he was previously spotted as a baby?

I realize actors might of been used for some parts I'm just asking about the actual footage of the shark jumping out and eatin that dude; and also at the end when he rushed the cage w 4 ppl in it.

That was awesome!! I paused and rewinded that for like 2 hours lol.

Also according to google, only 1 capsized boat at that time (2012) near that area and 2 people drowned, No reports of a shark being responsible however. Idk

NAT Geo Wild is also having shark week. Watching both and when I was watching shark of darkness. I check the shark attack files to see when this happen in 2014. I never saw any records of this ever happen. I knew something wasn't right. If this was real that rescue hero guy would of been on shark live.

When it's prime time TV of course the are going to put something exciting on rather than educational. .for people like us that are involved in sea life would rather watch some real footage but to the common channel flipper they want to watch action. The have to entice the audience either thru made up story's or an action packed show.without ratings there wouldn't be shark week. For the most part there is alot of good documentation in other shark week shows

When I want to see sharks, I go to Tahiti. When the sharks want to see sharks, they go to the New York Aquarium and see some senile sand sharks.
