I've been using a mag float to clean my glass, but I don't like getting near the sand with it because it picks up grit. It's a huge pain to stick my arm down to the bottom of the tank with a razor to clean the edges, but that's how I do it.

There has to be a better way. How do you clean your glass?

I think eventually everyone has to stick their hands in the tank to scrape encrusting algae off the glass.

I purchased the "strongest" I could find for under $100 and still once a month the razor must come out.

If you dont have phosphate issues the glass can be cleaned for several weeks with a magnetic cleaner with ease and once every 4 to 8 weeks with a razon, depends were your C. Algae is growing.

I forgot to mention, if you have a territorial fish it sucks even more to put your hand in the tank.

I have a clown fish that its the fish from hell, they all snap at you but this one is truly from hell and it sucks to scrape the glass with him in the tank.

For the tuff stuff I use the Reefoman special.
This is a DIY.
You get a window blind wand, bend it with some heat and cut a notch in it with a hack saw.

The glue on razor attachment to a magnetic cleaner is great, they work very well... But if you don't want to use a magnet in your tank then just use the thing I posted a link for. Get the telescoping version and you'll never have to put your hand in a tank again!
