Hey guys,
I ran the skimmer through a vinegar bath (over 24 hours) to try to reduce manufacturers oils, pre-breakin, etc. Ran it through hot water before placing it into my sump and still experiencing a lot of microbubbles 24hours+ later. I know it takes time to break in skimmers (upto a few days) but from all the reviews the skimmer is ready "out of the box".
All the microbubbles seem to be annoying some of my corals. Is there any recommendations?
I will put some filter floss & black "foam" inbetween chambers in a moment to try to reduce the bubble count.
