Snow blower and generator all ready. Mine runs on Gasoline and natural gas so I have it hooked up to natural gas because during Sandy, we couldn't get gas. I just hooked up my neighbor's generator because unlike me, he waits for the blizzard to do it and now I have to go to my wife's doctor to do his because he thinks the same way. And none of those guys have a drop of gas.

So my fuel shutoff valve is broken due to bad craftsmanship. I had to rig it so the gas will stop leaking. It's working so let's hope I won't need it. Ordered a new valve today. On another note machine shops in LI suck. Every place I went to said no to fixing it for me. In the city people will do anything to make a dollar

It took me an hour and 40 minutes to get home tonight.. I'm not complaining at all, but I live 2.2 miles away. Lol...
I will say that my car sucks in the snow. It's very possible it's my all season radials but damn. I actually had to get out and shovel (with about 100 cars behind me).

The island is going to get the brunt of this storm. It's not bad yet in Jersey with only a few inches on the ground and not snowing that heavily but it will later on. Luckily I work for a reasonable company and got out early from work. Working at home tomorrow. As far as preparation I tap into my neighbors generator enough to power my tank and Fridge and lights but need to get one of my own.
