Annoying Aptasia!! Please help

Aphasia keeps popping up in my tank and was woundering if anyone had good solution to thes.. Usually use kalk paste but very hard because of position of tank very close to ceiling plus putting my hands in tank just as annoying.. Baby help would be appereciated

I have a 75 gallon mixed tank and when I first realized I had this little problem Dee months back I bought 5-6 of them and they didn't help plus there all gone and I know they didn't get eaten cause only have small reef safe fish..

A bristle tail file fish (A. Tomentosus) worked wonders in my tank. He was a pretty well behaved too. I haven't seen one single aiptasia in a long time now.

I know sometimes stores have shrimp that look like peppermints but are not true ones. I only added one and worked well. He is still in the tank and fat

More often than not peppermint shrimp no worky. Almost always, filefish do work, but they may eat zoas too.

I've had very good luck with peppermint shrimp. I had an outbreak and wanted to eliminated it quickly so put in 10 (I have a 90) and they took care of the problem.

Thanks for reply sum willing to try anything that doesn't take me putting my hand into tank lol bought my shrimp from pops coral there good friends don't think they'd give me knock off shrimp but who knows lol so is my best bet to get both or fish/shrimp only

got a one spot butterfly fish with your name on it here in Queens, he'll take care of your little problem, plus a few others too. LOL getting him to stop eating, that's the trick. Maybe we should start trading butterflies as temporary guests for pest control.
