What are the "must see" LFS in the NYC area?

Been to both, like both. I also liked coral theory a lot but haven't seen them here, not even sure if still around. Been awhile

Yes indeed, anyone knows about Coral Theory? I have not been in that part of town for a while so...

When I started my tank in New York 6 years ago I had Manhattan Aquariums, Fauna, Blue Star Aqua, Pacific, and New World Aquarium as "LFS", now it is down to 2. MA and Pacific :/

I Like BluReef Aquarium on Flatbush Ave in Marine Park. They're re-doing the lower level to make it all reef stuff.

there is a good place in yonkers called ax corals , i got a nice show size emperor angel and alot of other fish. His name is ralphy , he has some fish that no one has . He has all his fish medicated with copper so you dont have to worry about ich. and he is a great guy to work with you can ask him questions all day and his knows all. go check him out!

LFS Map

There is another LFS in Manhattan by the name of Petqua. Every once in a while they get something interesting, but it is not on my list of places to visit regularly.
