Wrasse caught in carpet

finally it happened, my first fish to get caught in the carpet.
Melanarus 4-5 inches got caught in the carpet. I didnt see how but saw it struggling to get out...
I thought he was a goner, but he got out. He looks exhausted so im not sure how he was affected...
I caught him and put him into a holding container. Its been a few hours and he is still breathing but he looks weak, just laying on the bottom.

Any experiences with this? if he dies i will just feed it to the carpet anyway.

Well i heard onces that even if the fish gets out there will be nerve and muscle damage from the anemone powerful stings

My magnificent foxface got stung by my blue carpet, it was in bad shape, live for like another two day and pass away....i hope you have better luck
