did you quarantine? Any signs of disease or ich? From what I remember they are finicky eaters. I always use garlic on my food and have never had an issue but others will say otherwise. What works for some in this hobby may not work for others. GL .

P.S- I think yelling at him and giving him a stern talking may work.

where did you buy it from? Was it eating there? No scratching? i am sure your water is ok so i would try garlic and vitamin c on food. i soak pellets for a few hrs then feed. Tom

Dip will stress and probably kill this fish. It's weak and malnourished and it doesn't show any signs or infestation of anything. Why stress it more?

Because the dip would alleviate the stress preventing it to eat.

No offense but have you dip large angels before? Have you owned large angels?

no matter where you buy large angels there is big chance they have flukes even when they are eating.

I bought an asfur and a maculous angel from aquarium village, both eating. But guess what, both had flukes.

Good luck, hope you get the asfur eating, they are beautiful fish.

Yes, I've owned large Angels and No, I didn't have to dip them. However I've never heard anyone recommend dipping to induce fish to eat.
