Mushrooms have come a long way, there was a time when nobody wanted them.

I personally don't like mushrooms, but that one is unbelievable with an unbelievable value...

These are nothing new, they've always been around but now what has happened is people have put a name on them and jacked up the price, not to mention taken pictures under lighting that makes certain things pop.

I have many really colorful ones in my tank that I paid anywhere from $20-$40 for and the rock contained anywhere from 3-10 polyps on it.

they took off in price because they're easy to keep and maintain value .. not a 10k tho but still.
