I have a 120 gal RR tank with 2 corner overflows siiting in my basement for a month now. I asked my LFS to get a price on a ecosystem mud filter but ecosystem never got back to him so I ordered a Amiracle mud filter( alot cheaper).I did not want to wait anylonger. My question is instead of using miracle mud ($45 per 5 lbs) my LFS has Kent mud sediment ($20 per 6 lbs). Anybody try Kent.
I know Kent has been around for a while.

Thanks

Dan

I used Kent and some live mud and some live sand.

My sump is TEEMING with life. TONS of pods and shrimp. I think the Kent stuff is great as it is really fine and has a good concentration of trace nutrients.

Miracle mud is way too expensive.
