FWIW, the evil website in question which shall remain un-named has crashed because of all the traffic from the salon and slashdot article. I sure feel bad for them... I think I feel a tear brimming...

Whatever you do, don't post the name of the company in question. You don't want to get sued. I've got some opinions on this, but I don't want to end up being named in a freaking lawsuit. Sweet Jesus, what is the world coming to?

Maybe all of us should post something that gets all of us named in the lawsuit. Ya know, see if we can get them to try to sue everybody. Then it should be easy to raise the money for defense.

Seems to me from all the responces on this post that the guy accomplished what he set out to do.
No one wants to name names or give honest opinions.
MicroChip didnt post anything that said he was Joking,so now Reefs.org can goto court and testify that our administrator posted a thread which instructed our memebers not to discuss this issue on our service there by covering their own behinds.
Right or Wrong the guy accomplished what he set out to do,he has everyone running scared.

Just as a side note...what happened to the poll on this BB rating online suppliers? It was here yesterday....gone today! Interesting.

This is a serious issue. Bear in mind that anyone can sue you for anything ridiculous...the cost of your defense is prohibitive, most cases settle out of court to defray the cost of defense. The proverbial "cut your losses".

Fact: The highest paid profession in the USA is Plaintiff. Gives food for thought.
