Temperature too high?

I was just wondering if anyone knew the consequences of running the tank too hot, obviously not rediculously hot but i had mine at 80 until i realized and brought it to 78, what could have happened or may have happened that i didnt realize?

At 80 degrees, your tank will be fine... I tend to keep my tank on the higher side and get to 80 all the time.

80 is fine I keep my tank at that. above 82-83 is where you may notice a little stress.
