So I have 5 cleaner shrimp in my tank that I hate and I can not catch, and it is frustrating me to no end. The deal is anyone who would like to come try their hand at catching them will earn themselves 10 bucks per shrimp caught, potential to earn 50 bucks, or some frags of zoas and leathers from my tank if you would prefer. Also you can keep the shrimp if you would like, I would prefer to turn them into food but it would be your call. Anybody interested? the sooner the better. I am on 38th and 1st.

I got a 5" harlequin tusk thinking the same thing, he has not touched the shrimp, also the shrimp are pretty big, they would be bigger than any longnose hawk I have seen.

they poke at my carpet anemones for no reason, even when there is no food involved, i guess its a territory thing, they walk all over my corals and pick at my sun corals when i try to feed, they walk on the carpet anemones even though they are sticky. I HATE THEM. reefman are you serious?

Aw I'm disappointed :(
Triggers eating shrimp isn't my system, it's nature. Triggers eat shrimp in fact they need to in order to keep their teeth from growing so large that they starve to death. It's sad to feed cute mice to snakes but without the mice to eat, the snakes would die.

Add in a trigger and video tape the carnage! They post it up here or even better:

Start a pool $5 a head for how long it takes the trigger to maim and kill the shrimp! You can make enough cash to pay for the trigger and then some!

Ok that would be wrong. Don't listen to me, listen to what Ronen said :)

First off thanks for all the interest. Two of you have said you will attempt to come catch them yourself, I am going to try that first, if not then chief I will take you up on the offer to borrow the trap, the last trap I bought did not work at all as the door didnt close quickly enough but hopefully yours will. I tried with the net last night for about a half hour, one shrimp went in but was quicker then I was getting out. Like I said I am really frustrated at this point and not looking to try to catch them myself anymore. I entertained the idea of a trigger but they get too big and aggresive for the fish that I have in the tank now so I decided against it.
