Hows this for CS.
I live an hour away, I called the # 1888thatpet, to find out if they have a eheim part in stock. The person said yes we have a lot of these in are dist. warehouse. So I said well Ill come pick one up at the retail store. She said well although it says we have it in our comp that doesnt mean we have it. Call the actual retail store Long Distance and see if they have it. So I called the 717 # gave the person a discription and item # from eheim. They came back "yes it says we have lots in the comp. but that doesnt mean much, do you want me to go phyically look?" I said yes please do, so I dont waste a drive out there. He came back yes we have it and I put it on hold for you. Great I drove an hour out there to find the wrong part. I got cust service, and they said, "well thats a daytime thing what do you want me to do about it"? and then the cust. service rep walked away. I got anouther kid to look for it but no that part wasnt in stock. ALL there fish with a few minor exceptions are cyanide caught fish, a employee admited this to me after I complained about the death rate of there fish. They claim to save over 60% on retail store but compare most prices and they only save a few dollars. I go to the hidden reef now where the employees know there stuff and prices are only slightly higher. It isnt worth supporting a pet place where there prices are cheaper but all the employees are 15 year old kids who keep goldfish. They dont care anything about there livestock and if you dont have a reciept even if the box is unopened they give a 25% restocking charge. This is IMO of the retail store.
