I am a member of the Florida Marine Aquarium Society and last night at our monthly meet we saw a great presenatation by Roy of www.sea-critters.com of their Aquaculture setup for live rock and coral propagation.
they have a great looking facility and Roy went into great detail of the whole process of aquaculturing their rock. His wife Teresa runs the www.sea-critters.com site. I have not seen any of the pieces in person, only pictures, but I can say that the setup was top notch, and would expect their products to be as good. Prices are not too bad either!
I don't receive and kickbacks or anything, i just wanted to inform all of you of another option when getting rock and corals that are NOT wild, and are propagated- something that to me is really important having seen first hand what is happening to the indo-pacific and carribbean reefs by pouchers and just plain negligence. I guess it's my small way of saving the planet

Nice Rock. If anyone is interested in another Aquacultured rock dealer chech outweb page. Their stuff is awsome and cheap. If you live on the Right Coast they can have it to you airport the same day that they ship it, at no additional charge. Plus it is cheaper to pick it up at the airport. Usually runs 40-60 per 100lbs. Check them out.

I dealt with Sea Critters a few years ago as a wholesaler when I was working in the fish business. They are a GREAT company and great people. I even visited their facility in Dover (Florida) when I in the area. I would certainly recommend them based on my expirience with them!

I think they are a good source for Nassarius snail, mopping cukes, and aquacultured rock!
