Dizzy you are absolutely right.
We should use garlic for 30 days to ensure that we catch the full life cycle of ich.
Sometimes though it does go away permanently earlier but we should not quit the treatment until we are absolutely sure.

My thoughts on garlic is it is good for stimlating feeding response and I have had succss curing ich breakouts when caught very early on. I think it contributes to overall decline in water quality, and would not use it in liquid form, rather I'd soak the foods, pour off the excess, then feed.
