Hi everyone, 
Just wanted to say to all the guys and gals on the forum and say a thank you to the forum moderators for doing a great job. I've been following the threads on this forum for quite some time and finally got around to registering.
I had numerous fresh water tanks as a child growing up, but was introduced to the saltwater hobby 9 years ago by my husband (then boyfriend) who was an active hobbyist and worked in the retail side of the industry. My love and interest of the hobby has only grown and it amazes and delights me that so many others share that feeling.
My husband and I had been brainstorming for a while and I have been pushing him for years to start up something on his own, and we are finally there. We are close to opening our first Aquatic Retail store in Astoria, Queens and are thrilled - It is a dream come true!
I look forward to being part of this forum and wish everyone happy reef keeping days!
