Sunligh Supply 250W HQI Pendant questions??

Has anyone tried the new Sunlight Supply 250W HQI pendant? I know Sanjay is supposed to be testing them sometime soon. What are your opinions and how does it rate to other pendants? I need two fixtures for my Icecap 250W HQI ballasts that have been sitting in the basement for the past 4 months. Where is the best ($$) place to purchase them from?

I am thinking of one Optix pendent 250w too. Also, How does it perform in comparision with AB fixture and PFO pendent. Your opinions are appriciated.

I have a couple of them and they seem just fine to me. I've never tried any of the other pendents, or even seen them, so I can't compare...

THe sunlight Reef Optix III are very good pendants. Much better than the PFO mini pendant and just as good (may even be slightly better depending on your objective ) as the AB, as far as light spread and intensity is concerned.

I like them and in fact I am going to replace my 175W Single ended lamps on my 55G tank with 2 Reef Optix III pendants.

Look for the series of articles with the reflectors tests soon.
