I made an order with AquariaDepot.com last week. Last wednesday I placed the order for a protein skimmer and selected 3 day UPS delivery. Since then I have received no word from them or verification of the order except an apparent form e-mail when the order was placed.

Since then I have contacted them multiple times via both e-mail and phone, but without any response whatsoever. They have made no effort to contact me via any means. Fortunately, so far, they have not taken payment via my credit card, although they could at any time. There is no option on their site to cancel the order, so I can't do that and order the skimmer elsewhere.

Does anyone know anything about this company and what is going on with them? I did some research on them, but all the reviews I got were good. If I cannot find out anything about them, is there any means for me to cancel the order without being able to contact them? I don't want them to fill the order 6 months from now.

Any information here or help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

When I went to their site I got this message:

Is Currently Closed for Maintenance.
We expect to reopen soon.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

I noticed that. They did that today. This is the first day that they have that message up. Prior to today, it was their normal website. I tried calling again, and I tried e-mailing again, and still there is no response. Unfortunately there is no way for me to cancel my order online. I am really aggravated about all of this. :evil: :x :evil:

Also, make a official notice to them via both email and phone message that you are canceling the order. Save that email too. If you can make your email to request a proof of delivery upon receipt would be great. You need all that info just in case you need to file a dispute with your CC.

I placed an order with them back in January for a heater. A week went by and I had not heard from them. Finally after 9 days I emailed them and was contacted by their VP. Apparently they were out of the heater but they hadn't notified me of this. I ended up cancelling my order with them and although the guy I spoke to was nice I wasn't happy with the fact that I had to contact them in the first place.

I just recieved my remora via ups ground and the only problem with my purchase was that they didn't recieve my email address. Once I emailed them, the relied and sent me the ups tracking numer and added my email to their file. Sorry for the trouble buddy. Good luck!!!

at least someone is being acknowleged by them. I still have received no response at all from them. I e-mailed the VP this afternoon, but I doubt that I will even hear from him. Oh, well. My bank has been notified, and so have they. The order should be cancelled now, and I will be free to buy my product from a more responsive vendor.
