I actually have had a tank in the garage cycling for about a month or so now for this purpose.
My main tank has a small refugium that is feeding the tank with crazy amounts of pods, but as my future plans include a mandarin, I've put this 10 gallon out there and been periodically adding the macro trimmings from my refuge. Well, I just got a call from the wife and the power is out - so there goes that tank!! :x

Oh well - at least I had the sense to buy a generator and the main tank is running on that now... at 11:00 AM we'll find out if 6250 maximum watts is enough to fire the MH lighting, large refrigerator and large freezer...
