I can't pull the tubes out and let him come flowing through the bulkheads because my sump can't handle the excess water in my tank + the volume of my overflow (poor planning I know)

When I went with the ATI Bubblemaster (I thought) the site said 6-10 inches of water. So I went with 8 inch baffles. At an 8 inch water height I have more than enough room for when the power goes out but should I pull the return tube out that 5 gallons of water will overflow my 20 gallon sump. :(

He's going to have to get out the same way that he got in.

Both of my blue sided wrasse jumped into the 2 individual overflows. I couldn't get them out, and eventually 1 jumped back into the tank, and the other went down into the sump. They are both back in the tank, and seem to have learned their lesson.:wink1:

Fritz,

if he doesn't jump back out and you can't fish him out of there you could flush him during your next water change. Syphon the water from your sump, then pull the durso and give him the ride of his life! That way you wouldnt overfill the sump.

That was my plan. Although I feel like he needs a little longer to learn his lesson. Usually what I'll do is pick them up and yell at them and shake them, sometimes even putting them in my mouth. That usually teaches them a lesson.

I'm kidding.
