It seems the corals really agree with the change. You should really consider keeping the actinics on and getting some SPS in there.

Your 20k's will actually look brighter if you run HQI ballasts. If you don't already.

Yea the HQI ballasts man...they will yield far more par. Some sweet ballasts.

Compare the standard PFO to the HQI. It comes close to the 400 watt bulbs.

here is the plan.........restart the back 6ft 03-actinic...add 2 x 24 vho 50/50s in the ft of the tank...i think that would do along with the 2X250's ,

Sounds good, if you feel you need to have a little more white in there. Aesthetic preference, really. As far as what the corals need, I think the blue you have is perfect. IME, the best corals I've ever seen were either under 20K stand-alone HQI's or 20K moguls with actinic supplementation.

The best corals I've seen are under large orbs are flaming gases.
