Hi everyone.
I purchased a riterri anemone(Heteractis magnifica) yesterday for my tank and acclimated it over about 40 minutes and then introduced it. It climbed to the top of the tank as members of this species are oft observed to.
Here is the problem however, it was large and full looking last night. Tentacles extended and mouth visible but firmy closed. Today however, the tentacles look deflated and the mouth seems to stick out even though its still closed.
Any idea what coud have caused this? Or (and i know this is a long shot) is this normal during acclimation?
Thanks for your replies.
Cheers!
