I had a domino in my first SW setup. It was housed with a picasso triggerfish.

The domino turned a grey-ish color, and grew to the size of my open hand!! It was about 7-8" across when I gave him to a fellow hobbyist. No exaggeration. He was a mean SOB. Every time I did something in the tank, he bit me.

What a monster.

back when i was an irresponsible reef keeper i put a domino damsel into my quarantine tank that turned into a mantis tank. in any case i figured the mantis would eventually catch and eat the damsel that had been terrorizing my other fish in the main tank. i witnessed the damsel take a full on two armed punch to its broadside from the mantis. i figured that was that. the damsel got stunned and drifted with the water flow from a powerhead for a few seconds and then surprisingly recovered and continued to swim around as if nothing happened. a couple days later i found the mantis in pieces and the damsel picking at the bits. 8O
