 Well after several other post in other threads it seems that the conclusion is velvet. I am not sure how it got there, but it did. I would never wish this on anyone, it kills quick, and you really dont know you have it until its all over and done with. I tried for about 2 hrs to catch the remaining fish (Purple tang, Marine beta and 1 yellow tail dam) but with no avail. I really wish I had the time to completly take out the 300lbs of rock out, but there is no way possible for that to happen
.
So now what? I guess I let its cycle go thru its course, but how long does it last? From the readings I have done tonight some say 2-4 weeks without a host, so I guess that means when all the fish die wait 2-4 weeks. I will be preforming massive water changes after that then I guess wait another 4 weeks before introducing anythig else. At least this stuff dont infect inverts and corals!
In all toll I have lost 2 bag cards, 1 flame angel, 3- yellow tails, royal gamma, Kole tang, manderin, domino, and probally in the next day or so my purple tang, Marine beta and the last yellow tail
I thought Brooklynella was bad, but it is noting compared to this. Could the marine velvet got introduce via adding replacement snails and crabs? Thoes were the last thing added about 10 days prior to the break-out.
Thanks to all whom offered advice/help in the other threads. gurss its just time to sit back and wait it out.
