I picked up my first Clown Mantis yesterday, so I thought I'd revive this thread. Unfortunately, I won't get to see it smash anything for several months. After the 2 hour ride home, it wasn't moving and lost both of its clubs. I'm guessing it must have just molted at the LFS and was really stressed during the trip.

This guy has the same problem. His little Mantis friend doesn't have his apendages either. But I still would feel somewhat like Daniel in the Lions Den doing this....

I saw that in The Lurker's Guide. I tripped out when I first saw it. That's exactly how mine looks now.
