Well just wanted to share my latest purchase. I picked up 2 juvi M. melegris and a juvi M. bipartitus this weekend at the LFS. They were in the best shape of any leopard wrasses I've ever seen coming into the LFS. They are about 2.5" and are also the smallest ones I've seen by far.
I'm hoping that my adult M. melegris female will possibly change to a male now but know that it still might not happen.
All of the newcomers are in the tank and have been dong great and are already eating out of the water column. The M. bipartitus took a day long nap on Saturday but has been out and about all day today. None of the other fish seem to be hassling them much at all. My adult female M. melegris checked them all out initially but since then hasn't seemed to pay much attention to them.
Here are a few pics:
Hopefully I will be posting more and more pics of these guys for several years down the road!
FWIW, Nathan
