I didn't mean to imply that the person said it was "unhealthy" beacsue he didn't say that.

What i said was that Lienoic Acid wasn't present in marine algae..but we all know that tangs do not only eat algae in the wild. They can get their Lienoic Acid from other sources i.e. Microfauna, plankton layer, etc.
However in our closed systems they don;t have access to most of them. Which is why we supplement with vitamins i.e Selcon and Zoe. i was just pointing out alternatices to that....

Thanks, and no, I did not imply lettus is unhealthy. My son would probably think so though........

I fed my tangs mixture of seaweed, seaweed with selcon, mysis, some flakes, not to mention tankfull of C. prolifera that they graze on all day long.

I actually sample taste the nori I fed to my fish to make sure they are not artificially prepared, eg. seasoned. Who knows what else they put in the seasoned roasted seaweed? It's this that I knew Julian Sprung's seaveggie is seasoned nori. If not for their high price, it's actually pretty good finger snacks.........
