Hey Apex. These fish hang out around 42 meters, very deep. I do not know if they are ava. in the retail mrkt. I am sure they would be expensive. Very cool fish though. My fav. fish are Gobies. Andy

One of the reefcentral links is from a guy who got one. Actually, I think he may be on this board... Minh Nguyen? I think I've seen threads between him and Wandell. It's extra cool since it's a shrimp goby, too...

Anyways, I see you're in SC. I'm in NC, so we're practically neighbors... Thanks for the info.

Hey Apex, that would be a great fish to find. Good luck. I think with the rising pop. of smaller reef tanks more of these smaller reef safe fish will become ava. I always worry about buying deep water fish because of probs. with collection and decomp. though.

gotta love the Carolina's!! Andy

Apex (G),
Yeah Minh used to post here much more often. You might shoot him an email.

Good luck finding that goby. You might try contacting themarinecenter.com about it.

There are a lot of fish that just haven't been available before that are finding their way into the market. Trimma gobies are a good example.
