Hmm, if I remember right it was like less than $2. Kind of expensive as a sole food but it's nice to treat them now and then. The package is completely in Japanese characters--no English at all.

I feed my tangs - hippo and purple, formula 1, formula 2, VHP, angel formula and Seaweed Selects. I will also feed blanched broccoli, green beans and an occasional slice of orange. I ocassionally used Selcon and probably should use it more often.

I'm glad to see that some folks here have included the meaty foods, this can be a rather significant part of some tang species' diets. I've found that even tangs noted as "exclusively herbivore" go ape-poop over KRILL. As in berzerk.

I have not had any Tangs but I feed my Foxface Rabbit(primarily herbivore) a diet of spinach, romaine, frozen krill, pellets, flake, and chopped silversides. He loves it all. Best feeder I have. He has grown from about 1.5 inches to 4 inches in two years.

Actually... once you hit 1000 posts, your "reefkeeper" will go to {squat}.

All the best,

My Sailfin eats nori, my tank raised percula eats the nori, my cleaner shrimp eats the nori.

I even eat a piece of it now and then.
