I placed the following order with Jeff's exotic fish about a month ago:

Grand Total  $297.17

Under the terms of the sale, it said I would be credited at the rate of one free snail for every three purchased, and so on.

They also said they would include a free corals book.

The perculas and the tiger tail cucumber were not included in the order, nor was a bill of sale provided.

I tried contacting them several times but never received a response.

My credit card bill arrived and I was charged $317 for what should have been well under $270.

In summary, they don't include a bill of sale, they leave stuff out of the order, they don't credit your order for sale items, they don't send sale items they claim that they will send, they don't reply to correspondence and then to top it all off they have the gall to add even more charges to the bill.

Shoddy hardly begins to describe what appears to be deliberate criminal behavior.

Thats a hell of a clean up crew.What are you feeding your tank? Chili. Have you contacted them?Maybe you will be recieving another package.Maybe not. :?:

Jeff doesn't seem to like to acknowledge correspondence. (The stuff was for 4 different aquariums.)

I've ordered before but without any problem. I can handle mistakes, but I've been trying to resolve this for a month.

have you tryied picking up the phone? if this isnt resolved today i would call you card company up and dispute the charges.

I once ordered fish from them.
2 of the 4 I ordered were DOA. I contacted them repeatedly, with no response. Eventually, I called my credit card company, disputed the charge for the DOAs and 1/2 the shipping, and never heard back from them.

It is entirely possible that they just hired a bone-head. I'm willing to let them fix it. But if this is a business model, it is a bad way to make a few extra bucks.

Dont you think youre jumping to conclusions...One person posted a bad experience....I see this stuff happen all the time on here. Where one person has a bad experience and wants everybody to stop buying from them....

(BTW, its not a knock against you wgscott..I save that for the sump :wink: )

I chose my words carefully -- "think twice." It means exactly that. No more, no less.

Again, if they put it right, I am happy to let it go. But I have been trying to get them to do so for a month.
