yeah the shipping issue would cause me to shy away, I mean unless you were getting something REAAAAALLY nice, I think I'd rather spend the $30+ to ship on local stuff... not to mention I live in an area where "the good stuff" comes into on a regular basis

I felt that way as well, but there's still interest in the not so rare stuff. I don't mind opening up to those that are willing to do it

Use USPS express. Maximum per frag it would be around $20 bucks over night to just about any where in the Us.
Summer months for softies, and polyps you can use priority for $7.oo. 2 day to most any where.
Just pack for the worst and you'll be set. I doit all the time

Everyone has different experiences. For instance, I had a horrible time with USPS and won't use them again, while FedEx has been perfect.

I'd be comfortable shipping some LE's through USPS Express, but only if I'm somehow paired with someone in-state. Too much of a risk going an extra day with a 3pm cut-off time.

The only issues I've had were with FedEx, but that's just because their online people are never on the same page as their FedEx location people :?

UPS is my personal favorite.

I definitely want to get this going. I just haven't had the time to hammer out details and planning. I initially thought it would be easy, assuming that only collectors that were into the expensive stuff would be the only ones interested. But, there was also interest in exchanging the more common stuff, and also broadening the playing field.

So, what was initially going to be one rare category, turned out to be multiple levels of SPS, LPS, and softies :?

Agreed I use DHL and Fedex. I get insane rates at each, they they really take care of us. We never use brown (UPS) or USPS. Neither can come close, besides the fact UPS won't insure a perishable.
